…Spent a few hours out on the Bay Saturday afternoon looking for bonefish and permit with the fly rods. We had an early incoming tide and nice light winds out on the flats. A few lone bonefish were tailing here and there right off the bat, and a nice group of maybe 12 fish pushed across way out of range. Had 2 nice shots, one at a slow cruiser real close to the boat which spooked, and another tailer that popped up about 35 feet from the boat. That fish just simply vanished. Gave a shot during a bad tide around a couple bridges after the sun set, looking for tarpon, but there were none there on the last of the incoming, and it was busy on the water so we flew back out of the dark government cut and headed back to the ramp…
